Consultations at Kenmore are on Wednesday mornings. Appointments are of 55 minutes duration (a 51 minute session + billing and re-booking time). Should you prefer you are able to book a session via Telehealth; Telehealth sessions are predominantly offered on a Monday or Tuesday and during school hours. If you are looking for a later appointment we do offer one after hours consultation per week via Telehealth on Monday at 5pm.

How do I book an appointment?
We will contact you to book an appointment (assuming a waiting list does not apply at the time) once we have received the required forms (see forms below) providing us with your details and indicating that you have understood the service we provide and wish to proceed with your referral. If we have a waiting list at the time we receive your forms you will be contacted with this advice and asked to confirm that you wish to be wait-listed.
Send your completed forms by email: [email protected]u or post: PO Box 50, The Gap, Q 4061. If you have any difficulty scanning the completed paperwork a clear photograph will suffice. If you experience any difficulties completing our intake process please contact us and we will work with you to create a plan. Please bring a copy of the originals with you, together with a copy of your referral (if being referred by a GP), to your first appointment (note: this includes referrals from Australian Doctors - Kenmore). Without a copy of your GP referral you will be liable for the full fee with no rebate applicable.

What will it cost? Do I need a referral?
- If you are referred by your GP and wish to attend as a Medicare Referral, consultations held, within normal business hours (that is, between 8:30am and 5pm weekdays), at this location, are $160. If your referral is under the Medicare Better Access Initiative you are left with an out of pocket cost of $63.35 (following a Medicare rebate of $96.65). Due to a Medicare requirement the full fee of $160 needs to be paid before the Medicare rebate can be processed. Payment is required at the time of the consultation; the rebate can be processed on your behalf at the time of payment (returning to the account you have nominated with Medicare. Consultations via Telehealth (video call) are $155 (when booked as Telehealth; resulting in an out of pocket cost of $58.35) or $199 if after-hours.
- If you are referred via Open Arms (formerly Veterans & Veterans Counselling Service), Work Cover, or a Compulsory Third Party (CTP) referral you are subject to a different referral process and there is no out of pocket cost for your sessions. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
- If you are an NDIS referral please contact us to discuss your needs and receive a quote for the requested service.
- Self-referrals (that is, you do not require a referral) are accepted. The above quoted fees will apply. Given the variation between, and within health funds based on policy, please check with your health fund to determine your eligibility for rebates.
